How a leading online German educational center transformed passive video lectures into high-energy, interactive game shows for over 1,000 students across the Middle East.
Serving the entire Middle East / MENA region.
Managing a network of over 100 teachers and a diverse student body of 1,000+ learners.
A wide age range, requiring distinct approaches for both children and adult learners.
Students were attending live online courses but zoning out, leading to low participation rates.
Without active interaction, students were struggling to retain new vocabulary and grammar rules after the class ends.
Teachers had no real-time way to check if the class actually understand a concept before moving on to the next lesson.
They needed a solution that is engaging for a 7-year-old but professional enough for an adult learner.
The "Game Show" Approach We implemented a Teacher-Led model. Instead of students playing alone, the teacher opens the game on their device and "broadcasts" it to the class. The teacher acts as the host, and students play simultaneously to solve language puzzles.
Bright colors, animated characters, and playful sounds to capture young attention.
A rapidly expanding Online German Educational Centre.
We adapted the classic timed trivia format (inspired by "Woody" and other quiz games) to deliver instant feedback. This keeps students on their toes and encourages quick recall—a form of active learning proven to enhance retention.
All students in the "Session" answer the same question at the same time, fostering a sense of community and shared experience. Points are tallied by speed, accuracy, and bonus streaks, igniting friendly rivalry.
